Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk are no longer the top CEOs

In a new report, both the world’s richest and 2^nd richest CEOs are out of the top CEOs list. According to anonymous employee feedback on workplace monitoring portal list, employees of various companies rated their CEOs between December 1, 2019 and December 1, 2020.

The results are quite surprising. These were the top 3 finishers:-

1. Eric Yuan, CEO of Zoom
2. Brian Halligan, CEO of HubSpot
3. Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google

Jeff Bezos who was ranked 41^st in 2019, didn’t make it to this year’s list. Elon Musk who was ranked 19^th in 2018, also was unable to make this year’s list.

Other well known CEOs who made it to this year’s list were as follows:-

• Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft at rank 4
• Shantanu Narayen, CEO of Adobe at rank 5
• Tim Cook, CEO of Apple at rank 8
• Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook at rank 40

In terms of company culture which included various metrics such as compensation, leadership, work environment, work-life balance and a few more parameters, Google jumped from 4^th rank to being the top company this year.

It was followed by Adobe, HubSpot and Zoom respectively. Microsoft, which was ranked 1^st in 2019 slipped to 6^th rank this year. Other large tech firms such as:-

• Facebook was ranked 16^th,
• Apple was ranked 17^th &
• Uber was ranked 44^th

The top 3 best companies for Women in 2020 were as follows:-

• HubSpot
• Adobe
• Google

In terms of Diversity, these were the best companies:-

• Microsoft was ranked 1^st
• Google was ranked 4^th
• Zoom was ranked 6^th
• Facebook was ranked 8^th

We hope next year, Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk will be back in the rankings.
