Another day, another news related to Anil Ambani and as usual it’s bad news for him. When we started this website, we never knew we would have to post so much news about a man losing grip at his life.
Anil Ambani’s problems have certainly increased as his debt is now more than Rs 20,000 crores. The total debt including the interest, stood at Rs 19,805.7 crores on August 31, 2020 which further rose to Rs 20,379.71 crores. He owes money to HDFC and Axis bank.
The principal amount due to HDFC Ltd is Rs 523.98 crores and to Axis Bank Rs 100.63 crores, RCL said. The total amount of outstanding borrowings from banks and financial institutions works out to Rs 700.76 crores, including accrued interest up to December 31, the company added.
Similarly, another group company Reliance Home Finance said the total outstanding debt was close to Rs 13,000 crore. Total financial indebtedness of the listed entity, including short-term and long-term debt, stood at Rs 12,943.18 crores at the end of December 31, 2020. This includes principal and interest.
We don’t have much to say about him as his problems aren’t going anywhere as of now. All we can say is that don’t take your life for granted as one moment you could be a billionaire and the next moment you could be broke. How strange that both the words start from the same alphabet.
