In June, it introduced VOOT Kids, a multi-format learning and entertainment app for children of all ages. Furthermore, the number of downloads on the Google Play Store has surpassed one million in just four months! On Android, the app has a 3.8 rating and a 4.2 rating on iOS.

It is currently one of Apple’s top ten educational apps on the App Store. In November 2019, when VOOT entered for the first time in this domain, little did they know that the platform will ace all good popularity ratings.

This service is only available to members of VOOT Kids. Rs 99 per month (with a seven-day free trial) or Rs 799 per year are the two options (comes with a 30-day free trial). At any moment, you may cancel or renew your memberships.

While the app shares many similarities with Viacom’s VOOT video streaming service, it focuses more on educational material than cinema. Watching, reading, listening, and playing are all part of the edutainment experience.

“Best-in-class” titles are now available through VOOT thanks to partnerships with publishers such as VOOT’s Nick, Warner Bros., Oxford University Press, Green Gold, BBC Studios, TV Asahi, Sony Music, and many more.

The app offers features such as a browser history tracker, Safe Screening, and other parental controls to make it even safer for youngsters. This app has a lot to offer children between the ages of 2 and 8 years old. Many things may be done in one place: you can read, listen to music and play games.

Picture e-books, audio stories, and a variety of activities are also available on the website. This is India’s first and only multi-format children’s app, according to the Early Childhood Association (ECA).

Many parents who are homeschooling their children have questioned the usefulness of schooling itself. As a result, we send our children to school every day to avoid this. How does not taking your children to school every day affect them?

They can learn on the Internet, and the government plans to set up new television channels to make education more accessible. Despite their membership, they are not receiving all of the advantages that come with it.

Their issues are caused by a lack of socialization, or learning how to get along with others and interact with people who aren’t relatives, In recent years, online learning in India has not grown as rapidly as in the United States and China.

Internet learning and homeschooling are more critical than ever in the present economic climate. In just a few months, the adoption of online education has accelerated by five to seven years. Schools are closing, and students utilize the Internet to study in ways they’ve never done before, thanks to the government shutdown.

Parents and children may be surprised to learn that it’s teachers who are spearheading this shift. As a result of “high inertia,” teachers in the pre-pandemic period never taught online. Hence, VOOT Kids in this is a must platform that aims towards taking the learning era in a whole new innovative direction.

Given the ease with which material may be accessed via technology and these new efforts, a school’s main objective is to encourage socialization and allow outsourced parenting and learning.

Now that EdTech companies have offered content and access solutions, they’re looking at new ways to expand education outside of the classroom through social and group learning. This could be a future for our kids. Hence, it would be wise to wait and watch.
