2020 was one of the worst years in the history of humanity. Who thought that a small virus will spread throughout the world and force all of us into lockdown?
If you’re not a billionaire or multi-millionaire, I know that 2020 was bad enough for you to not remember it anymore. In 2020, economies collapsed, small businesses went bankrupt, people lost their jobs and livelihood along with their savings and many people died due to the virus situation.
2020 was bad and just when you thought that the nightmare is over, you get the news that covid-19 virus is mutating. In the UK, scientists have found a new strain of the covid-19 virus that’s stronger, faster and even more deadly than before.
Covid-19 is mutating and this time the virus has the ability to spread 70% faster than before. Following this news, the UK has enforced a lockdown as strict as possible.
All the major countries have suspended all the flights to and from the UK until further notice. There are a total of 40 countries that have banned flights. Some of these countries are as follows:-
- Canada
- Italy
- Germany
- Spain
- India
- Hong Kong
- France
The UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson said that “with a heavy heart, we have to announce a lockdown and shut down the country to stop the spread of the virus and cancel all the plans we had for Christmas”.
When 2020 started, we all thought that it’s a new year, a new decade and it could be a fresh start for anyone who wants to build him/her self but that’s not how 2020 went.
But just when we thought that now we have some potential vaccines that could work and save humanity, the virus became stronger. Not only this, the virus could become even stronger and mutate further in the near future.
Christmas could have been an opportunity for millions of people to earn some money but looks like 2020 has decided to keep surprising humans in each and every way possible. 2020 didn’t start well and looks like, it won’t even end well.
The festive occasion of Christmas is usually full of joy, excitement and happiness but not this time. What’s even worse is that this might continue in 2021 as well. If you thought 2021 will be your year, then you should think for a second as this might not be the case for you.
2021 was looking like a very promising year where vaccines could solve our problem but not anymore. We don’t know what will happen in 2021 but don’t expect anything as 2021 could be even worse than 2020.
